| Creating a review file of items from scanned barcodes is useful when the usual boolean
method does not work because the only thing that is common to the items or barcodes in
question is the fact that they are physically together and probably in front of you!
Barcodes are scanned as if taking Inventory but they do not need to be in any particular
order. If you don't have Inventory it may still be possible to create a review file of
items from barcodes by using Rapid Update and Create Lists, or by programming a portable
scanner to insert necessary key strokes between barcodes and sending the data to INNOPAC
as if coming from a keyboard. But that would be a topic for another IUG program! |
